“Mercato” (market in Italian) is a collection inspired by the historical ‘Mercato di Rialto‘ of Venice. A place full of colour, smells and impressions. There is not only fish, but also an abundant variety of fruit and vegetables. Local products ’nostrane’ come from the vegetable island of Sant Erasmo - but there are also exotic fruits such as pineapple- after all, trade with distant lands has been a Venetian tradition since the Middle Ages.
